It is no secret to us that there is a little bit of a government on the server. Our president & vice-president have been chosen democratically and the people are enjoying their decisions so far. Of course one of these decisions was to rid me of my deserved vice-president position, I guess I kind of deserved it.
But have you ever wondered: who is chosen to host the election?
The first ever election took place on the 25th of October 2020, and was hosted by none other than your friendly neighbourhood shawty. After seeing a semi-private chat between the president and vice-president I can safely assume that shawty wanted to do it himself.
But what if shawty wanted to be a candidate for the election? Then, another election host would be chosen. But what if they wanted to be a candidate too? Well, the president has decided there will be a Discord account shared between the 2 leaders to host the election with — as a last resort.
Currently, the next “campaign week” before the election is scheduled to take place between the 18th and 24th of November 2020, and the next election is scheduled on the 25th. Mark it in your calendars, y’all! We’ll see how this plan goes then. For now, it seems like shawty is going to host the election yet again.
